The internal link audit that fixes what it finds

A useful audit answers five questions. Which pages are orphans? Published but with no in-text links pointing to them? Which pages are buried too deep, more than three or four clicks from the homepage, where crawlers visit rarely and authority barely flows? Where is link equity pooling, old posts hoarding links while the pages you actually want to rank sit thin? Is anchor text descriptive and varied, or a wall of "click here" and repeated exact-match phrases? And which obvious topical connections are simply missing? Pages about the same subject that never mention each other?

Linkagent's audit is a real crawl, not a form you fill in. It reads your sitemap, fetches every page, and builds the actual in-text link graph, deliberately excluding navigation, sidebar, and footer links, because a page "linked" only from a menu is still an orphan where it counts. On top of that graph it computes click depth, per-page inbound and outbound counts, anchor distributions, and topic clusters, so every problem comes with context: not just "this page has two inbound links" but "these five related pages should be the ones linking to it, and here are the sentences where the anchors already exist."
