Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the hosted Linkagent service at linkagent.app. The Linkagent software itself is open source under AGPL-3.0 (embed script under MIT); if you self-host it, the license governs and these terms do not apply. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

The service

Linkagent crawls websites you add, suggests internal links and content edits, and serves approved links via an embed script, plugin, or API. It is a tool that assists your SEO work; we make no guarantee of search rankings, traffic, or revenue outcomes. Suggestions are exactly that — you review and approve what goes live.

Your responsibilities

• Only add sites you own or are authorized to manage. Crawling and injecting content into someone else's site without permission is prohibited.
• Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Do not abuse the service: no automated bulk scanning of third-party sites, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the hosted infrastructure, no unlawful content.
• The free scan is for evaluating your own sites, at reasonable volume.

Plans, billing, and refunds

Hosted plans are billed monthly at the prices shown on the pricing page. You choose a plan at checkout, and no card is ever charged without you explicitly entering payment details. The free scan requires neither an account nor a card.

You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. If you are unhappy in your first 14 days on a paid plan, email us for a full refund of your first payment. When a subscription ends, links served by our script stop being delivered; your data remains exportable and you can migrate to a self-hosted instance at any time.

Your content and data

You retain all rights to your sites and content. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service: crawling your pages, storing and processing their content (including AI processing as described in the Privacy Policy), and serving approved links and sentences back to your site.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features over time; if we make a change that materially reduces what your paid plan includes, we will notify you in advance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost rankings.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (liability, disputes) survive termination.

Changes and contact
